Twydall Family Centre and Twydall Contact Centre (project no longer running)

  • economic wellbeing

This project negotiated with other agencies and co-ordinated a range of support services for families with children aged 4-13 years in Twdyall.  Activities, steered by a multi-agency committee including local family representatives, included after school clubs, parenting skills, learning opportunities and bespoke support sessions for parents.  It also developed facilitated contact between non-resident parents and children aged 4 - 14 in Medway; developed support groups for non-resident fathers, parenting support and domestic violence support; developed and trained volunteers.
