Provision, in partnership with key agencies and organisations, of universal non-stigmatising parenting courses for parents and carers of children of all ages in Medway.   Starting in autumn 2004, the project researched existing methodologies; developed an agreed programme for Medway and identified key delivery points and agents.  A pilot programme is currently being delivered, with full delivery throughout Medway planned thereafter.  At February 2007, 40 facilitators have been trained; 26 courses have been attended by 184 parents, who have found the courses rewarding and liberating and many of whom are now advocating the courses to other parents.  For courses currently being delivered see attached timetable.  For more details and copies of a colourful leaflet for parents please ring 01634 338635.  Please pass this information on to parents, carers, colleagues and partner agencies as appropriate.
