The Community Centre opens at 7.30am for a breakfast club for children between the ages of 5 and 13 years.  The children have access to a wide range of activities and facilities, including pool table, dance mats, books and pencils/paper. The breakfast that is offered is a range of cereal or toast and fruit juice, with last breakfast being served at 8.15. The children in years Reception to Six are then walked to Brompton Westbrook Primary and the older children leave and make their own way to their schools.  The club/walking bus ensures that children get a healthy breakfast and boosts the local school attendance.
