Lead Language Support Teacher (no longer funded by CFM)

The Lead Language Teacher works within the remit of a larger communications team which supports school staff, pupils aged 4 - 12 and parents with interventions to support  language development where there is evidence that language delay or poorly developed communication skills are likely to impact on progress within the National Curriculum. Early identification and intervention pre threshold for external agency involvement is intended.  Funding has now been provided by LEA to continue the Lead Language Support Teacher project - a joint initiative between health and education.
