Helping Parents Helping Children (no longer funded by CFM)

Every Child Matters outcomes met:

• being healthy

• enjoying and achieving

• making a positive contribution

• economic wellbeing

This project provided support to parents/carers in targeted wards, covering a range of issues such as drug awareness, assistance with school homework, health issues and behavioural strategies.  Other agencies reported a demand by their clients for similar delivery and an information gathering day shaped the bones of a programme to meet future needs (see Parentis).
