Children's Fund Medway was led by an equal mix of voluntary organisations, statutory agencies (local authority, health and police) and the community sector (parents, carers, those working with children in the community, and those representing minority groups in Medway).

 

The aim of the Partnership......

was to oversee the progress and development of the Children's Fund programme in Medway by meeting Children's Fund objectives and reducing the numbers of children and young people at risk of social exclusion.

Current Board Members(28KB)

The Partnership Board met quarterly and comprised a minimum of 12 members
and a maximum of 18 (six from each stakeholder group - statutory, voluntary
and community).  Up to six
additional members were co-opted onto the Board

at any one time for a specific period (to bring specific expertise).
